Expert support and advice for every stage in your dog’s life
Every responsible pet owner wants their dog to be happy and well behaved.
As you are reading this page, you are probably looking for training for your dog or you are concerned about the behaviour of your dog.
This is where my services can help identify the cause of your pet’s behaviour. I can help you develop a plan of action to address the issues.
Countless well-meaning people offer pet advice which is often misguided. The profession of pet behaviour counselling has yet to be regulated and it is best to use the services of a member of a recognised and professional organisation. This ensures that your counsellor will act with integrity and offer advice from a position of experience and knowledge.
I started F.I.D.O in 2010 but have worked with dogs and owners all my life. I work with dog owners to help them to understand how to relate to their dogs in a way that makes sense to their pet and therefore addresses problems quickly and permanently.
I read Biology at Sussex University, studying Genetics, Neurobiology and Animal Behaviour and graduated with a 2i honours degree. I hold a PGCE from Oxford University, a canine behaviour and care qualification from the Cambridge Institute of Dog Behaviour and Training, am a member of the Guild of Dog Trainers and am a full member of the Canine and Feline Behaviour Association which means my services are covered by many dog insurance policies. I also hold a Canine Behaviour and Psychology Diploma from the Pet Education, Training and Behaviour Council (PETbc). I love my vocation and keep my knowledge and skills up to date by frequently attending seminars and undertaking courses covering all aspects of dog behaviour, training and nutrition.
